## Delete an offer

`DELETE /v1/catalog-offers/:id`

Deletes a product offer by identifier. A deleted offer cannot be restored through the API — create a new one if needed.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|----------|-----|:-----:|---------|
| `id` (path) | number | yes | Offer identifier. List: [`GET /v1/catalog-offers`](./list.md) |

## Examples

### curl — personal key

```bash
curl -X DELETE "https://vibecode.bitrix24.com/v1/catalog-offers/7191" \
  -H "X-Api-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"
```

### curl — OAuth application

  },
})

if (res.status === 204) {
  console.log('Offer deleted')
}
```
### JavaScript — OAuth application
  method: 'DELETE',
  headers: {
    'X-Api-Key': 'YOUR_APP_KEY',
    'Authorization': 'Bearer USER_SESSION_TOKEN',
  },
})
if (res.status === 204) {
  console.log('Offer deleted')
}
```

## Response

On successful deletion, an HTTP status `204 No Content` is returned with an empty body — success is checked by the status.

## Response example

```http
HTTP/1.1 204 No Content
```

## Error response example

404 — no offer with the specified `id` exists:

```json
{
  "success": false,
  "error": {
    "code": "ENTITY_NOT_FOUND",
    "message": "offer does not exist."
  }
}
```

## Errors

| HTTP | Code | Description |
|------|-----|----------|
| 404 | `ENTITY_NOT_FOUND` | No record with the specified `id` exists, including on a repeated deletion (`offer does not exist.`) |
| 403 | `SCOPE_DENIED` | The key lacks the `catalog` scope |
| 401 | `MISSING_API_KEY` | The `X-Api-Key` header was not passed |

## Known specifics

**The method does not check that the `id` belongs to an offer.** With the `id` of a regular product, the call returns `204` and deletes that product. Check the record before deleting: [`GET /v1/catalog-offers/:id`](./get.md) returns `404 ENTITY_NOT_FOUND` for an `id` that does not belong to an offer.

**Offers are deleted together with their parent product.** After [`DELETE /v1/catalog-skus/:id`](/docs/entities/catalog-skus/delete), the offers of that parent product return `404 ENTITY_NOT_FOUND`; there is no need to delete them separately.
