# CRM document public URL

`POST /v1/crm-documents/:id/public-url` calls `crm.documentgenerator.document.enablePublicUrl`. Use a writable key with `crm` scope. Supply `enabled: true` or `false`.

The response contains `data.publicUrl`. **An enabled link is public: anyone with the address can open the document without an API key.** Send `enabled:false` when sharing ends.
