# Knowledge-base workgroup binding

Binding changes the site type to GROUP; unbinding changes it to KNOWLEDGE, not the original type. Read bound pages with scope=GROUP. Bitrix24 checks workgroup permissions.

Requires the landing key scope. Optional query scope: KNOWLEDGE, GROUP or MAINPAGE.

Site existence and type are checked before writes; a false Bitrix24 acknowledgement returns 422. Successful actions return state read back.
