# Report fields

An employee's daily report is the object returned by the methods of the Daily reports section. This page lists its fields, types and allowed values.

In the response of [Read a daily report](/docs/workday/daily-reports/get) and [Save a daily report](/docs/workday/daily-reports/save), the report arrives in the `data` field. In the response of [List daily reports](/docs/workday/daily-reports/list), the reports are the elements of the `data` array, and the `select` parameter keeps `id` and the listed fields in each report. Time is an ISO 8601 string in UTC, or `null`.

The `withAi=true` parameter is available in the Read a daily report and List daily reports methods. With it, a report written for the record by AI or an automation rule arrives in the same object rather than as a separate element: its type goes to `type`, its text to `reportExtended`, while `id`, `report` and `timestamp` still come from the employee's report. Without an employee's report, the report written by AI or an automation rule does not arrive: the Read a daily report method returns `data: null`, and the list has no report for that work time record. If both AI and an automation rule have written a report for the record, the one created later arrives.
