AI search in Bitrix24 VibeCode — apps and bots can now search the web

Bitrix24 VibeCode now has AI Search — your apps and bots can search the web. The platform team has launched a beta: apps, bots, and AI agents built on the platform can pull fresh information from the web with source links in a single request.

Nine search engines to choose from. One works by default, eight connect with your own key. Bitrix AI Search — built-in, best at understanding Russian, returns a ready answer with source links. Tavily — universal search with site and date filters. Brave Search — private search. Exa — semantic search by meaning, not just keywords. You.com — citations and follow-up questions. Linkup — real-time web crawl. Perplexity Sonar — for deep research. Jina DeepSearch — iterative research-only search. Z.AI — search with publication dates. If you don't have your own key connected, the platform uses the built-in engine — for Russian-language tasks the team recommends sticking with it.

What AI Search can do. Sales assistant: a manager opens a lead card in Bitrix24 — the bot finds fresh news about the prospect's company and prepares a call summary. Cuts research time by 30%. Marketing intelligence: ask the bot "compare top 5 solutions for X" — get a report with links in a minute. Used to take an analyst a day or two. Support bot with fresh data: a chatbot answers customer questions about exchange rates, order statuses, company news in real time — 40% fewer escalations to operators. Brand monitoring: a bot searches for brand mentions once a day and posts a digest to a team chat — no separate monitoring service subscription needed.

Three ways to plug in. In a Bitrix24 chatbot: a ready recipe and snippet are in the admin panel — copy and use. In your own AI agent via OpenClaw: connect search as an agent tool — it decides when to query the web and cites sources in the response. In a third-party app: any application works, the schema is Tavily-compatible — migration takes minutes.

In the dashboard there's a ready-made prompt for Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, ChatGPT, and Cline. Copy it into your AI agent — it figures out the schema and connects search to your project on its own. The key is issued in the dashboard in 30 seconds.

Your own Tavily, Brave, or any of the eight keys — in a minute. If you already have a subscription with one of the providers: copy the API key from the provider (many have a free tier), add it in the dashboard on the search page — the platform validates the key on the spot — and use it without changing any code. In this case the platform charges nothing, you pay the provider directly. For admins there's a separate option — connect one key for the whole portal at once.

Safe for business. Only the question text is sent to the search provider, no CRM data. All keys are stored encrypted, every call is recorded in the audit log — you can see who searched what and when.
